I have an amazing selection of girly art eye candy to share today (after taking forever to post these!!!) The amazingly talented Photographer Jennifer Erickson contacted me a while back and asked if I would be ok with her doing some shoots based on a few pieces of mine~ I loved her portfolio and said absolutely!  Who does not want to see something like that?? Over the past few years she has shot a few inspiration shoots or tributes to some of my images and they are all so beautiful I just had to share them here with my visitors! I’ll show a few side by side just for fun and share the rest below in a gallery <3  some just go with the collection, or have small inspirations, and a few are a little more obviously inspired by pieces, can you guess which ones? Time for some Rainbow Photos ~

 

 

I even had the chance to finally meet her (along with Miss Alphabet ) after the Sanrio 50th show/ party and we had a nice day thrifting around Melrose!

Fellow freelance girly artist Anneli Olander came to visit with me for a week! She was all the way over here from Sweden to attend a show down in LA that she was in, so while she was in CA she came on up to San Fran and ended up keeping me company for a bit! Instant Buddy!!!!

Another fun surprise was yet ANOTHER artist happened to be in town (this time from Italy) Miss Cikita Zeta! She was published in the book “Pink Attitude“  alongside Anneli and I that came out in Italy a bit ago, so I was excited to meet her at last~  Pink artist party.

We had lots of fun sipping pink martinis, but since we are both workaholics we ended up panting late at night after only a few days~ hehe. I really enjoyed her company because we both worked the same way~ hunched over paper with random girl chatter haha! Here is anneli working on some watercolor washes and myself sanding some wood plaques for my solo show pieces this feb!

I know, we look extra lovely in those PJs trying to stay warm.

Ah yes~ it was unavoidable that we would go to the Japan mall and take purikura photos! Sobbing Anime eyes, MY DREAM HAS COME TRUE!
