Good news, check out my press section! I have a page in the latest issue 156 of Computer arts magazine! Yay! They featured two of my older, but very colorful pieces + a small blurb about me and what I do. I have always enjoyed this magazine, so its a real treat to be in it!

Pink Attitude book launch!

I know this is terribly late for me to announce in my news, but many of you read my other blogs or have seen the event listed on my exhibit list I think. I have just recently been published in an awesome book called "Pink Attitude"! The book features several other feminine artists from all around the globe, such as the very talented (and one of my favorite artists personally) Marguerite Sauvage, Tansy Myer, Enrica Mannari, Pilar Alvarez, and many more! It really is a great collection of work, and it was such an honor to be invited as an artist in it!
The book is quite large and hard covered, with about 200 or so pages inside that are all full color. Right now it can be purchased from Happybooks HERE for €30,00 (about $47 usa dollars) and YES, the site and checkout system can be viewed in English and they will ship to the states :) I shipped an extra copy to my parents very easily! You can also order it through most major bookstores I think, in person and online. It has also been spotted in many gallery shops and art centered bookstores.

About the book tour~ the book is planned to go on a small show tour ( with a show already in Rome, Italy) so please keep an eye here for more if you are interested in attending an event! I'll post the info as I get it in my "Events" section!

(Above ^ ) Quick snapshot of the launch party! My dear friend and fellow artist in the book Anneli Olander was able to attend the party in Rome and give me the juicy details! She said the party was amazing and oh so very PINK! More photos can be seen on the official book site HERE or check out the video below!
UPDATE: This made my day!! I was shopping at my absolute FAVORITE bookstore in the whole wide world (the kinokuniya bookstore at the japan mall, best selection of artbooks imported and domestic EVER!!) and look what I spotted!! I have also seen the book at several urban type art shops down in the Height! Its so amazing to see it on the shelfs in places I go to myself ![]()
